Aloe

"You don't find trouble; trouble finds to you."


Aloe is one of the first dogs I met when I came to Kaapsehoop. She loved to go on great adventures with hikers and I would say she is a great ambassador of the village by showing tourists around and overall being very independent. 

Being smart and independent does have it's advantages when you aren't guarding your food bowl! Everytime I visited her she would immediately dart for her food as if it were gold newly discovered by a lonely prospector.

Very intelligent and quick to take advantage of any opportunity present specially at Salvadors pub which would explain her expanding waistline. Aloe is one of my absolute favourite local dogs in Kaapsehoop.

    Ha ha ha. That is a perfect description of Aloe. She is a bit over her recommended weight at the moment and is reluctant to escort just any old hiker around the place. Nowadays she only accompanies special people around the mountain.
